Final Steps:

I've been applying trim moldings around the front and rear doors to the cabin and painting and finishing the topsides. 





Next Steps:

I've been contemplating the mast step and have a plan. I'll be installing it if the weather will cooperate. I still need to install the floor in the bow compartment and in the cabin.

  3. I wish my first boat had looked that good. I was 16 years old, so I've got an excuse. It wouldn't sail very well, but not held water in the back yard for ten years or so. :)

  4. You are putting a floor in the bow compartment? Why is that?

  5. The floor in the bow is just the small area at the bow of the boat. It provides an area to stand on before exiting onto the beach through the opening at the bow, and it creates a storage space beneath it.
